Responsible for providing technical & clinical support in the sales process within Korea for Patient Care Solutions - Diagnostic Cardiology segment. He/she shall provide required pre-sale product demonstrations (or clinical trial support) as well as post-sale installation, training and customer service activities to support sales goals. Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide scientific/medical input into cross functional strategy; develop and lead execution of local clinical strategy; leverage local clinical and medical insights to best inform cross functional strategy; provide technical and clinical excellence and leadership during sales process by demonstrating full range of product features including potential uses, product capabilities and benefits to customers as needed
- Facilitate the build-up of GE Healthcare’s reputation as a science-based and patient-focused reliable partner
- Develop, coordinate and deliver product training to customers on software, application and/or equipment use, monitor customer installations within assigned territory/region to improve customer delight and maintain customer relationships; Clinical subject matter expert for advanced clinical features of the respiratory care product portfolio
- Improve customer satisfaction through continuing education on optimization of equipment utilization by customer
- Support trade shows and professional conferences by performing product demonstration and promotion as well as customer training
- Presales support and direct and channel partner sales representative support; Educate, observe, and assist sales representatives in the field, as needed to drive successful selling strategies into the field
- Provide and maintain profiles for all installed and potential bases within Korea
- Provide support and in-service training in conducting evaluations
- Promote synergies with sister segments within Patient Care Solutions (PCS) and the greater GE HealthCare organization
- Support local, regional and national trade shows as required
- Develop and sustain channel partner clinical application capability by training their dedicated clinical applications staff
- Manage demo equipment
- Develop and execute region scientific communication and engagement strategy
- Recruit, manage, develop, and retain industry-best key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the country
- Ensure an active flow of local medical insights and needs to the regional and global level, as well as sister product segment and modalities
- Lead local evidence generation strategy and execution, including Investigator Sponsored Studies and expanded access as well as mining the published clinical and scientific literature
- Lead interactions with key external stakeholders as a senior clinical representative of the company and lead clinical advocacy.
- Decide scientific/medical subject matter appropriateness of labels and materials used to support internal/external interactions; direct clinical/scientific input into local regulatory/reimbursement/policy related documents and interactions
- Lead adverse patient event monitoring, reporting, management and complaint handling
- Become a resource for medical device IT integration of the Diagnostic Cardiology product portfolio
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated current basic clinical proficiency on products/platforms
Proficiency in computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite product
Team oriented with a customer satisfaction mindset
Fluency in English and Korean and/or relevant languages would be added advantage
Willingness to travel extensively within your specified geographic region as well as to nationwide sales meetings and tradeshows
Desired Characteristics
Bachelor of Science degree with experience in the clinical setting, Medical degree with specialist qualifications will be an advantage
Min 3 or more years of demonstrated critical/intensive care experience in large hospital/university setting is preferred
Strong presentation skills (public speaking and lecture experience desired); history of delivering lectures in clinical conferences will be an advantage
Demonstrated ability to understand and present complex material (e.g. clinical literature) in understandable terms
Demonstrated interpersonal & communication skills (ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, to external customers, regional/global counterparts and to team members in other functional organizations)
Solid problem solving skills (ability to manage and resolve conflict, communicate issues and propose solutions to both internal team members and external customers)
Proven professional business acumen (experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a solution-based sales process)
Self-motivated, willingness to take the initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and take actions to improve
Team oriented with a customer satisfaction mindset
